Celebrating its two-decade legacy, the enduring comedy special, “Blacks Only,” is set to mark its 19th installment on October 7th at Johannesburg’s MonteCasino. Hosted by the seasoned MC David Kau, this milestone event promises an unforgettable evening with a coalition of top-tier comedians.

Kau unveiled the star-studded lineup on his Instagram page, featuring the talents of Celeste Ntuli, Marc Lottering, Alan Committee, Tatz Nkonzo, Mojak Lehoko, Mo Mathebe, Thapelo King Flat Mametja, and Dija Wz. Kau himself will serve as the MC for the show, and tickets are now available ranging from R250 to R700, with the show commencing at 8 pm.

“Blacks Only” has transcended its origins as a comedy show, evolving into a platform that propels both emerging and established comedic talents into the spotlight. David Kau’s vision and comedic genius have been instrumental in the show’s enduring success.

 

 

Kau emphasizes that the 19th annual “Blacks Only Comedy Show” not only celebrates comedy but also the diverse voices that enrich South Africa’s cultural tapestry. This year, the show will be held at the prestigious Teatro at MonteCasino, with a mission to break down barriers through humor and unite people through shared laughter.

The lineup for this year’s event showcases a mix of rising stars and comedy veterans, with talents like Tatz Nkonzo, Marc Lottering, Celeste Ntuli, Mojak Lehoko, Mo Mathebe, Thapelo King Flat Mametja, and Alan Committee promising a night filled with laughter and unity.
