Mother Teresa’s College in Douala, Cameroon, Achieves Remarkable 1st Position in the Honors Roll of GCE – General Certificate of Education

Mother Teresa’s College, located in Douala, Cameroon, has achieved an incredible feat by securing the 1st position in the Honors Roll of the GCE – General Certificate of Education in Cameroon. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and vision of Chief Mrs. Ada Agnes Makia Kesi, the founder of the college, who has steered its growth and success over the years.

Mother Teresa’s College was established over 36 years ago in Bonaberi, Ngwelle, and has emerged as one of the most successful college institutions in West Africa. Under the leadership of Chief Mrs. Ada Kesi Makia, the college has nurtured and empowered students from diverse backgrounds, transforming them into successful professionals across various fields such as law, medicine, entrepreneurship, engineering, and more.

With its commitment to imparting wisdom, humility, knowledge, and a sense of purpose, Mother Teresa’s College has set an exemplary standard for educational institutions to follow. The college has a strong alumni network, consisting of past students who have excelled in their careers not only in Cameroon but also globally, including countries like Nigeria, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Niger, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.

The journey of Mother Teresa’s College began with the establishment of Bilingual Kindergarten and Primary School, which revolutionized the school system in Cameroon. The success of BKPS laid the foundation for the launch of MTC, which has since become a renowned co-educational boarding school with a focus on academic excellence and holistic development.

Chief Mrs. Ada Kesi Makia’s visionary leadership led to the acquisition of a vast campus in the outskirts of Douala, known as “Ngwelle” or “forest” in the local dialect. Despite initial challenges, the college flourished and established a secure and serene environment, ideal for nurturing young minds.

Over the years, Mother Teresa’s College has expanded its infrastructure to include modern facilities such as science laboratories, food and nutrition labs, a library, a computer laboratory, sports amenities, and comfortable residential accommodations for guests. The college continues to evolve, adapting to the needs of the students and maintaining a disciplined and disciplined system.

Commenting on the recent achievement, Chief Mrs. Ada Agnes Makia Kesi said, “We are immensely proud of our students and staff for their dedication and hard work that led to this remarkable accomplishment.
