In anticipation of the sold-out show, Black Coffee shared his excitement and dream of bringing his music to the largest possible audience. He saw his debut at Madison Square Garden as a realization of one of his biggest dreams.
In a touching tribute, the star wore a custom AMIRI shirt and pants, hand-beaded and embroidered, inspired by “The Pyramids,” an art piece created by South African artist WonderBuhle. This artwork, commissioned by Black Coffee, was his way of paying homage to the three significant women who played vital roles in his upbringing: his mother and two grandmothers.
