In the scenic town of Hout Bay, Cape Town, two mothers juggling toddlers, travel bags, and the everyday chaos of motherhood had an idea that would change their lives — and the lives of countless women like them. Woman on the Move (WOTM), born in 2020 out of friendship, necessity, and a shared spark of ingenuity, is more than a brand: it’s a movement.

It all started with a simple frustration — the lack of stylish, durable crossbody phone straps in South Africa. For women constantly on the move, the struggle was real: one hand occupied with a child, the other clutching groceries, while phones slipped, fell, and got lost in the fray. Instead of waiting for a solution, they created one. And just like that, WOTM was born — built on boldness, creativity, and a deep understanding of what women truly need.

Today, Woman on the Move is a name synonymous with freedom, style, and functionality. Every piece is designed with real life in mind — for beach walks, school runs, spontaneous market days, and everything in between. Each accessory is a subtle but powerful reminder that with the right tools, women can navigate their busy lives with a little more grace, a lot more ease, and endless style.

At its heart, WOTM isn’t just about convenience; it’s about empowering women to live fully, hands-free. It’s for the multitaskers, the dreamers, the movement-makers. Each strap is a love letter to the dynamic, unstoppable force that is the modern woman — thoughtfully crafted with durable materials, chic designs, and that unmistakable sprinkle of South African flair.

But perhaps what truly sets WOTM apart is the community it fosters. Wearing WOTM means joining a sisterhood of women who get it — women who are too busy living to be weighed down, but who still want to move through the world with elegance and purpose.

This May, WOTM takes an exciting step forward. The brand will be showcasing and exhibiting at the South Africa Trade & Consumer Expo on 3rd May at Heartfelt Arena — an event known for celebrating the best of innovation and homegrown excellence. Visitors will have a chance to experience the WOTM collection firsthand, feel the craftsmanship, and maybe even find the perfect accessory to match their own unstoppable lives.

For Woman on the Move, the expo is more than a showcase; it’s a celebration — of movement, of creativity, and of the women who inspire them every day.

As WOTM continues to grow, it remains fiercely committed to its founding mission: Peace of mind keeping your phone safe and secure while remaining hands-free going about your busy everyday life. Woman on the Move – where Fashion meets Function.

Because when a woman moves, the world doesn’t just watch — it follows.
