Sharing a teaser of the biopic, Mncube conveyed the immense weight he felt in portraying an icon like Mandoza, saying, “The weight of portraying an icon was heavy on my shoulders.” He also shared, “I felt a deep responsibility to honor his memory and pay homage to his legacy, and I am honored to have been chosen for the role.”
