Upon speaking with Photographer, Lehlogonolo Ngoasheng, we got to explore his journey as a professional photographer, and his inspiration for this line of passion.
What inspired you to get into photography?
Fashion inspired me to pursue photography. I picked up a camera to capture pictures of my friends’ outfits and share them on social media.
What’s the most exciting event you’ve taken pictures for in the past?
The most thrilling shoot I had was during a soccer match. The feeling was out of this world; pausing the fast-paced action was truly exhilarating.
What makes you stand out to potential clients?
My work stands out because I integrate photography with strategic communication. Through this combination, I can achieve the goals of clients, no matter how big or small.
Can you share any success stories or notable projects that have helped elevate your career?
I had a solo online exhibition with an art gallery during lockdown. This experience showed me that there’s no obstacle that can stop me from chasing my dreams.
What advice would you give to any aspiring photographers?
Start with what you have; there is no amount of gear or preparation that can replace experience.
How do you use social media to your advantage?
I mainly market my work through social media.
