Hulisani Ravele boasts a career spanning more than twenty-five years in the entertainment realm, transitioning from a child prodigy to one of South Africa’s most prominent figures in radio and television.

In a recent media announcement, Ravele unveiled her intentions to embark on a well-deserved hiatus from the airwaves and the TV screens.

Over the past half-decade, Ravele has been at the helm of Primedia’s 947 weekend morning show, fostering a vibrant connection with her devoted fan base.

Her exit from the station signifies a significant turning point in her professional journey, as she steps away from the media spotlight to embrace a period of tranquility, introspection, and the pursuit of fresh prospects.

The theme of serenity has consistently reverberated through Ravele’s Instagram posts, with her captions exuding sentiments of peace and composure.

Expressing her gratitude, Ravele said, “I deeply appreciate the affection and backing I’ve received from my supporters and the industry. Securing a spot on the 947 lineup has been an absolute realization of a lifelong dream.”

She continued, “Being the anchor of an engaging and wholesome show for such a diverse and multicultural audience, contributing to the station’s attainment and sustenance of over a million P7D listeners, are accomplishments I hold close to my heart.”

“This break isn’t merely a pause but an occasion for me to immerse myself in novel experiences and uncover what the future has in store. I’m eagerly anticipating the path this journey will lead me down.”

The final episode of her broadcast is scheduled for September 30, 2023, marking the conclusion of a remarkable era.

Although her absence will undoubtedly leave a void, her departure resonates with a message of empowerment and the freedom to make choices, inspiring others along the way.
