The renowned TV personality and actor, Ntando Duma, has made her grand entrance into the Zulu Isigodlo on Mzansi Magic’s (DStv 161) captivating historical series, Shaka iLembe, and her presence is already stirring up trouble. Duma took on the role of Bhibhi and made her debut in the Sunday night episode.
Bhibhi’s arrival in the sixth episode creates turmoil in paradise for King Senzangakhona kaJama (played by Senzo Radebe) and Queen Nandi kaMbengi (played by Nomzamo Mbatha) when she becomes the king’s eighth wife.

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to play the role of Bhibhi on Shaka iLembe,” Duma expressed her excitement about being cast in the drama. “I had so many challenges auditioning for this character – I think I auditioned more than once before getting this role.”
In her portrayal of Bhibhi, Duma skillfully depicts the character’s desire to assert her position, leading to divisions among the king’s wives and pitting him against Queen Nandi and their son, Shaka. As the episode unfolds, they are eventually told to leave the Isigodlo.
