Following her alleged dismissal from Kaya 959, Dineo Ranaka wasted no time in revealing her next endeavor as she joins the esteemed Podcast & Chill network.
Founded by MacGyver Mukhwevho, widely known as MacG, the Podcast & Chill Network debuted its inaugural episode in July 2018.
Ranaka’s podcast, released its first episode on Tuesday July 11th via YouTube and Spotify, which delved into the realm of sexual health and pleasure.
She shared on social media, “Thank you for holding and keeping space for me whilst my wings were being nursed. It’s all going to be an enjoyable journey of self-discovery. Researching mental health matters through conversations about sexual health and pleasure.”

Before unveiling her latest project, the reality TV star and astute entrepreneur disclosed that she had experienced an “interesting season of life,” hinting at her purported termination from Kaya 959.
Colleen Louw, the Managing Director of the radio station, offered their support, stating: “We continue to support Dineo on her mental health journey and hope that in future, she may be in a position to speak about possible opportunities with Kaya 959, should her health allow. We wish her all the best.”

In May, Kaya 959 initially expressed their well wishes to Ranaka when she was unable to host her morning show due to her candid revelation about grappling with suicidal thoughts. Later, the station announced Sizwe Dhlomo as her temporary replacement.
In June 2022, it was officially announced that Ranaka would be leaving Metro FM to join Kaya 959.
