Ntobeko Sishi, the talented young actor who captured attention when he bid farewell to Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, Gomora, earlier this year, is now back on television, captivating audiences with his outstanding performance in the gripping drama, STOUT, airing on eMedia’s eVOD. For those unfamiliar, eVOD is a subscription-free streaming platform powered by eMedia, the esteemed owners of e.tv.

When questioned about his transition from Gomora to STOUT and his music career, Sishi openly shared his experience stating that after shooting STOUT and Gomora, there was a bit of overlap when he started focusing on his music career, and now, he can confidently say he has found a balance.

At present, Sishi has dedicated himself entirely to his music, putting acting on hold for the time being. He has mastered the art of directing all his energy toward one passion at a time, avoiding any juggling act that might lead to compromise. According to him, this focused approach has been a genuinely rewarding experience.

In STOUT, Sishi portrays the character of Lumko, a troubled teenager who undergoes a harsh reality check when he finds himself in a reform school for delinquent youth. The story follows Lumko’s journey of facing his mistakes and fears, pushing him to become the best version of himself. Influenced by a close family friend, Lumko receives a lighter sentence – enrollment in Jonah’s House for Boys (JHB), an institution designed for troubled young men, commonly known as a “stout school.”

As Ntobeko Sishi takes center stage in STOUT, audiences eagerly anticipate witnessing his exceptional acting skills while he passionately pursues his musical aspirations, leaving a lasting mark in both realms.

This year, he released a nine-track project titled “A Night in The Hills” as he shared on his social media platofrms: “A NIGHT IN THE HILLS IS OUT EVERYWHERE, LINK IN BIO!!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS POSSIBLE!”

Sishi shared that are more exciting projects in the pipeline, with new music slated for release next year which he cant wait to share with everyone!
