Drake, the renowned rapper hailing from Canada, recently made an exciting revelation regarding his ongoing tour, ‘It’s All a Blur,’ by acknowledging the contribution of South African musician Kabza De Small as a producer.
Taking to his Instagram story on July 6, Drake shared, “Show is executive produced by @ovo40 and @bnyx with additional production by @kabelomotha.”
Kabza De Small, a highly celebrated Amapiano producer and DJ from South Africa, has amassed tremendous popularity. In the previous year, he emerged as the most streamed South African artist and secured the second most streamed artist overall in South Africa, just behind Drake himself. His album KOA II Part 1, released in 2022, garnered critical acclaim and dominated the local charts.
This isn’t the first time Drake has expressed appreciation for a figure from the South African music scene. Drake has previously acknowledged and engaged with Uncle Waffles on various social media platforms.
At present, Drake and 21 Savage are embarked on a North American tour, aimed at promoting their latest album, Her Loss. This exceptional hip-hop album was released last year and swiftly ascended to the top of international music charts. The tour, which commenced on July 5, will continue until October 9.
