Comedian Trevor Noah has exciting news for his fans as he announces the forthcoming release of his new book, “Into the Uncut Grass,” scheduled to hit bookstores on October 31st.

Expressing his enthusiasm on his social media pages, the internationally renowned TV host shared his long-standing desire to create a book suitable for readers of all ages. He wrote, “I’ve always wanted to write a book for all ages, and I’m really excited to announce Into the Uncut Grass will be out October 31st! You can preorder a copy at TrevorNoahBooks.com.”

Described on Trevor’s website as “an illustrated fable about a little child’s voyage into the magical world beyond the shadow of home,” the book promises to unveil the secrets of solidarity, connection, and finding peace with our loved ones.

The gorgeously illustrated narrative – illustrated by Christopher Myers, aims to captivate readers of all ages, making it perfect for both reading aloud and solitary reading. It weaves a tale of adventure and companionship, beautifully highlighting the rewards of kindness, curiosity, and interdependence in a world often marked by conflict.

In 2016, Trevor achieved a significant milestone with the release of his debut book titled “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood.” The book quickly garnered widespread acclaim and achieved the coveted status of a New York Times bestseller, captivating readers with its compelling narratives.

With an overwhelming response from the public, “Born a Crime” sold over two million copies, a testament to the book’s gripping storytelling and its ability to resonate with a broad audience. Notably, it received the esteemed 2017 Thurber Prize for American Humor, a recognition of Trevor’s exceptional talent.

The accolades did not end there, as the book went on to win the prestigious Book of the Year at the South African Book Awards in 2020, further cementing its significance as a captivating literary work that transcended borders. Additionally, in 2017, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) bestowed two Image Awards upon “Born a Crime,” honoring its profound impact and contribution to the literary world.

Reflecting on the book’s achievements, One World Executive Vice President and Publisher, Chris Jackson, described Trevor as an unparalleled storyteller, whose book resonated deeply with readers due to its humor, profound wisdom, and heartfelt emotions.

Excitingly, the success of “Born a Crime” has opened up new possibilities, as plans for a movie adaptation based on the book have been revealed. The film adaptation is in progress, with none other than the talented Lupita Nyong’o, renowned for her role in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” set to portray Trevor’s mother and also serve as a producer, promising an engaging and cinematic representation of Trevor’s captivating story.
