Nasty C, the 26-year-old South African rapper, has announced the pre-order availability of his fifth studio album, ‘Love It Here,’ scheduled for release on September 15. This exciting news came with the drop of a new single titled ‘Prosper In Peace,’ featuring US rap star Benny The Butcher. The anticipation surrounding the album caused “Nasty C” to trend in South Africa.

On Instagram, Nasty C shared his excitement, saying, “My new album ‘Love It Here’ drops in nine days! The pre-save is up with #ProsperInPeace ft. @getbenny available for streaming! Do the right thing!! #LoveItHere.” Benny The Butcher responded with enthusiasm, commenting, “We went crazy.”

‘Prosper In Peace’ is the third single released in the lead-up to the album, following ‘Crazy Crazy’ and ‘No More’ in June and July. Early fan reactions suggest that this new single may be the standout track.

Nasty C’s album also features collaborations with other artists such as afro pop star Ami Faku, frequent collaborator Tellaman, R&B vocalist Manana, and rappers 25K and Maglera Doe Boy.

The album’s cover art features a picture of Nasty C with his long-time partner Sammie and their son, emphasizing the personal and honest nature of the music.

Nasty C expressed his intentions for the album, stating, “With this album, I wanted it to instantly connect with people who wanna listen to good music. It’s very honest, the stuff I say about my father, mother, my son, just where I am in general. Everything is very open and honest.”

In addition to his album release, Nasty C is currently on tour with Cassper Nyovest for their joint ‘African Throne World Tour,’ which has already taken them to Kenya, Tanzania, and eSwatini.
